Winds of Change

Change is upon us. Every minute is different than the last and every minute we are in is different than what is coming.

The winds have been blowing extra today, clearing out the old and bringing in the new.

What does that mean? It is different for everyone. How things happen for you will be different than for me and different than your spouse or anyone else.

Change is always happening, all around us and within us. The changes happening now are faster, some more subtle and some more blatantly obvious.

What can we do about it?

Go with the flow is something that will help each and every one of us. When you find yourself in a situation and you feel your frustration building because things aren't going the way you had planned, stop. Let the things flow on around you and not get you pulled into the frustration, the drama, the chaos. Go with the flow.

Accept things as they are. How many times do we try to change something – we speed up to make the light or we run to make the elevator before the doors close. What about accepting things as they are and continue at our pace. Let the light change and come to a stop or let the doors close and wait for the next elevator. Accept things as they are instead of racing to change them.

Take a break. This may seem counter-productive, counter-intuitive, and yet, it may be just what you need. Think about something you're working on and things just aren't working out. The more frustrated we get, the more it doesn't work. So, walk away and take a break. Get a breath of fresh air or go grab a cup of tea or coffee. And when you come back, you'll be surprised how things just work out.

Look at life as the ant farm that it is. Take a step back and be an observer. Put on a different pair of glasses so you can see things differently. Look at life from a different perspective. Look at how things are playing out without getting emotionally involved – like you and everyone around you are an ant farm. What is happening, why are people doing the things they are? Just observe. Then jump back into your life and see how things play out.

Yes, change is upon us and change is always happening. The changes occurring now are happening faster and, in my opinion, are exciting.

So hang on for the fun ride ahead.

Angel Blessings to you.
