Make A Difference

Mother TeresaMother Teresa lived her calling.

As to my calling, I belong to the world. As to my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus.
~Mother Teresa

She was one person who made so much of a difference in the world. You and I may not be the next Mother Teresa, but we can make a difference too.

  • Each time we help another individual, we make a difference.
  • Each time we smile at another, we make a difference.
  • Each time we choose to spread joy versus anger, we make a difference.
  • Each time we teach someone something new, we make a difference.
  • Each time we choose to shine our light for all to see, we make a difference.
  • Each time we share our kindness with another, we make a difference.
  • Each time we speak with love, we make a difference.

What are you doing to make a difference?

Angel Blessings to you.

Sue

This should be taught, like the Pledge of Allegiance, to all children, on a daily basis! And always a good reminder.

You are right Carol. Teach it to the kids as soon as they are able to understand! 🙂

That’s a lovely quote. We all can make a difference in our own small way 🙂

Thanks for sharing your post! Mother Teresa was truly an inspiration and yes you are right we can all make a difference…but we have to want to make that difference. I strive every day to make a difference and I pray that I never loose sight of doing that. Thanks again!

You are very inspirational! Thank you! For me, I do try to smile as much as possible. I know it makes me feel good and gets me out of a frustrated state of mind!

Thank you Julie, and good point – by smiling at others, it gets us out of our heads. You’ve heard the saying, to help take your focus off your own problems, do something nice for another. I think it’s what you’re saying. 🙂

A hello. I’m always reminding my son – a hello or welcome to whoever you meet.

I especially like to see if I can get a grumpy salesclerk to smile 🙂
